Austin deck building has to account for shade, drainage, and heat. We build ground-level and elevated decks, multi-level decks that follow sloping lots, and pool decks with slip-resistant surfaces. Framing is treated lumber sized for the span and load; decking is your choice of cedar, hardwood, or composite. Composite costs more initially and eliminates the annual sanding and sealing that pressure-treated pine demands in this climate.

Deck railing is where a deck either looks finished or looks unfinished, and it is also a code requirement above thirty inches of height. Options we install include:

Patio Covers in Austin

Proper attachment and flashing at the roofline matters more than anything else here, and it is where most cheap patio covers eventually leak.

An Austin pergola gives filtered shade and architectural structure without fully enclosing the sky. We build traditional cedar pergolas, modern steel and aluminum frames, and louvered pergolas with adjustable slats that let you control sun and shed rain. Pergolas pair well with outdoor kitchens, fire features, and pool decks.

Screened patio enclosures extend the season on both ends and keep mosquitoes out during the wet months. We build screen rooms, motorized retractable screens for existing covered patios, and full three-season enclosures with vinyl or glass panels.
